She walks through nature, as nature

A poem of mine, in its original English. Madeha made an image for it.

Part 1

She wakes up. Hears the sound of broken dreams. She moves between the pieces of glasses. Without noise. To not be detected. She learned to be silent. To not draw attention.

There is something in her. Behind her walls of kindness she keeps something that no one can touch. Her dream. Her hope. Her strategy,

her brilliance to get out of those disasters.

In the sweet, bitter moments of loneliness, she listens to her dreams.

Keeping them alive. The dreams keeping her alive. A gentle moment of lighter breath.

Too intense to forget.

Endurance. Sacrifice. The price is high.

When there is a source, then this is it. She dreams about being in another place.

Of lightness, the smell of peace, goosebumps of joy, walking through nature,

as nature, colourful, sparkling, desirable. The echo of this future is stronger than her fragile present.

Her body knows it. Her body can’t lie, can’t be denied.

It’s magical. And a burden. It’s her choice.

Every day, every morning, every evening.

Part 2

Hundreds of evenings, mornings and choices have gone.

She moved beyond thresholds. Recreated herself again and again.

Shaping her shining, and releasing what never belonged to her.

She walks straight. She learned to ground.

To keep her fire. Her softness, flowing through the water of life.

She walks through nature, as nature.

Remembering the unforgettable voices and goosebumps her dreams once whispered to her.

She carries the tears of grief, of losses, they fall on the ground.

A ground of acceptance, of love.

Her body was her armour, solid and silent,

till it’s time to evolve. Now it’s time.

A sleeping volcano is awakening, powerful.

Her body is unfreezing, uncontrolled, desperate,

so long pretending to sleep and be blind.

She’s fascinated and afraid of her own power.

Afraid of being too fragile.

The mind can’t help, just be present.

Holding space for the ecstatic releases. Sacred shivering.

She walks through nature, as nature.
